Shipping Policy
Electricalxpress strives to provide customers with the most competitive pricing across its entire product offering. Shipping costs are not built into our sell prices, instead we offer customers a choice of options that best satisfy their needs.
Flat Rate
A flat rate delivery service of $9.50 plus GST is automatically added to the cost of your order at the end of the check-out process. This option is offered to orders that fall within the post codes of the greater metro areas of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide as defined by our freight carriers.
Non-Metro/Remote Postcodes
For these deliveries you will be provided with a live calculator during the check-out process allowing you to select the best shipping option from multiple freight carriers. The cost of the selected option will be added to your order at the end of the check-out process. Shipping costs are based on the weight, customer’s location, and the shipping method selected.
Heavy/Bulky Products
Electricalxpress labels products that fall into this category. For these deliveries you will be provided with a live calculator during the check-out process allowing you to select the best shipping option from multiple freight carriers. The cost of the selected option will be added to your order at the end of the check-out process.
Shipping costs are based on the weight, customer’s location, and the shipping method selected.
*Product weights used for product descriptions on the website refer to the net weight of products only and do not include the weight of any other components such as packaging.
Delivery Times
Delivery times are provided by the carrier selected during the check-out process. This will help you estimate the number of business days taken to deliver the product after we dispatch it from our warehouse located in Adelaide SA. Please contact our customer service team if you might have a query regarding this.
Orders are processed on business days (Monday to Friday). We do not dispatch during weekends and Public Holidays. All orders are shipped from our SA warehouse.
Order Tracking
Orders will include a tracking number via email provided by the nominated carrier. Customers are expected to receive the tracking numbers on the day the order is dispatched from our Adelaide warehouse.
Items Out of Stock
Occasionally there may be a stock discrepancy beyond our control and we will be unable to fulfil your complete order. If this should occur, our service team will contact you and confirm whether you wish to wait for the back-order to be satisfied or have us process a refund.
